Roger Benedict conducted several concerts at the 'Out of the Shadows' festival in Sydney, 2017.

Roger Benedict  is Artistic Director of the Sydney Symphony Fellowship Program and Principal Violist of the Sydney Symphony Orchestra. A frequent guest conductor with major Australian orchestras, including the Sydney and Adelaide Symphony Orchestras, he also works with the emerging artists of the Australian Youth Orchestra and National Youth Orchestra (UK). He is Senior Lecturer (strings) at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, The University of Sydney.
